Revised SLRC COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
Regarding the Covid-19 Virus

SLRC’s ongoing concern is to ensure the safety of the entire SLRC family. These revised procedures are intended to protect the health and well-being of our staff and our clients.

  • Our waiting room will remain closed for the time being. Clients
will continue to meet their clinician in the lobby of Memorial
Tower II (7500 San Felipe Street). Please feel free to wait in the
lobby downstairs while your child is in session.

  • Children and their clinicians continue to wash hands prior to beginning the session, and again upon completion of the session.

  • Children may now bring food, drinks, toys, or other materials from home with them into the sessions.

  • Masks for both clients and staff are optional. If you would prefer that your clinician wears a mask while working with your child, please feel free to make that request. If the clinician does wear a mask during the therapy session; however, it is likely that the clinician’s mask will be removed for part of or the entirety of the session in order to address the speech, language, or language-learning goals.

  • If we are made aware that any client tests positive for COVID-19, a notice of potential exposure will be sent to SLRC families.
